Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Monivo (the "App") treats your information with care. This policy explains what the App collects, what it is used for, which external services receive it, and how you can delete it.

1. Information we collect

Account informationThe user identifier (UID) issued when you sign in with Apple or Google, your email address, and your display name.
ProfileNickname, user ID (a string beginning with "@"), and avatar configuration (a combination of parts and colors — we do not handle photographs).
Age group and gender (optional)You can use every feature without answering. These are used only to suggest things like "voices popular with people your age". We do not collect your date of birth — only the age band (teens, 20s and so on). You can change or remove them at any time in the App (My page → About me).
Recorded audioThe audio files you post (AAC format) together with the title, description, hashtags, intended audience, situation tag, visibility and posting time.
ConnectionsFriend relationships, friend requests, and voice requests.
Ratings and savesRatings on voices (👍 / 👎) and saves to your collection.
Reports and blocksThe contents of a report (target, reason, optional note) and information about the people you block.
Device tokenThe device token (FCM token) needed to deliver push notifications.
Purchase informationThe status of your subscription purchases and renewals. The App never receives your credit card number or other payment credentials.
Advertising identifierAn identifier for ad optimization and measurement (IDFA on iOS, the advertising ID on Android). Used only if you allow tracking.
Alarm settingsAlarm times, repeat days and the voice to play are stored only on your device. They are not sent to our servers.
About transcription. The feature that drafts a description from your recording uses on-device speech recognition. No audio is sent externally for this feature. However, the audio you post is stored on our servers (Google Cloud Storage) so that the people you send it to can play it.

2. How we use it

3. Who can hear your voices

Every voice you post has one of the following four visibilities. You choose it when posting, and it cannot be changed afterwards.

If you choose "Share with the world", people you do not know will be able to hear the recording. Please do not include your name, address, telephone number or anything else you would not want made public.

4. External services

The App uses the following services in order to work. Their handling of data follows their own policies.

Google (Firebase)Authentication, database, audio storage, push notifications, server-side processing. Firebase privacy information
Google (AdMob)Serving and measuring advertising (free plan only). Advertising policies
Google (Google Play)Sign-in and in-app purchase on Android.
RevenueCatManaging subscription state. RevenueCat privacy policy
AppleSign-in, in-app purchase (App Store), alarm playback (AlarmKit), notification delivery.

Other than the above, we do not provide your information to third parties except where disclosure is required by law.

5. Advertising and tracking

The free plan shows advertising. On iOS the App asks for permission to track on first launch. You can use the App without allowing it — ads simply will not be personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iPhone, or in Settings → Google → Ads on Android. The premium plan shows no advertising.

If you use the App from the EU, EEA or the UK, we ask for advertising consent under the GDPR on first launch. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad consent settings inside the App.

6. Retention and deletion

7. Permissions

All of these can be changed at any time in your device settings.

8. Age

The App includes the ability to play audio posted by people you do not know. Please do not use the App if you are under 13. If a child uses it, please do so with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page. When a change is significant we will also tell you inside the App.

10. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle personal information, please get in touch through Contact.
